PhinSpin Rules of the Road

PhinSpin is my domain and I set the rules. I am the judge, jury and executioner here when it comes to people who participate in posting comments.

Your ideas, comments and input on my articles and my blog are welcomed. I don’t mind contradicting opinions, but what will not be tolerated on my site is belligerence, bigotry, or any attempt to demean or belittle another individual posting here because they are of a different opinion or background than you are. Anything I deem as a transgression will be purged by me on sight. This is not a place for ideas that find their foundation born from blind hatred or blatant trolling. This is a place for real Miami Dolphins fans to unite. This is a place where the best virtues of mankind like tolerance, honesty, temperance, and decency reign supreme. This is a place where the wisdom of the past meets the realities of the present and the possibilities of the future. We are all hungry for the Dolphins to achieve the ultimate glory the NFL has to offer, a Super Bowl championship! So get on board to relish the pursuit, or get left behind wishing you did.

As far as my style goes, I am in the mold of a Greek storyteller. I love stories of a great destiny being achieved, and that is the lens through which I often write. if it takes me 3000 words or more to convey an idea, so be it. If it takes me just 10, that works too. If I think something needs to be said, I’ll say it and happily open a fresh can of worms. I will do my best to be accurate with the facts, but please bear in mind that I don’t have a team of researchers at my disposal, so I will be counting on you to bring any grievous errors on the fact front to my attention. I also don’t have an editor, so my apologies in advance for any overlooked grammatical and syntax errors. I’m sure I will make some mistakes and I may even occasionally dangle my participle for all to see.

So, I welcome you to PhinSpin to rally together as our beloved Miami Dolphins pursue their goals and aspirations. I invite you to wield with me the universal and mighty power of hope. In the NFL, a united fan base is a powerful thing indeed, so let’s propel our warriors to greatness together.
